The jury is still out on the influence of working from home on worker ‘productivity’. There is a minority of knowledge workers though, who cannot work at home at all. The libraries are public co-working spaces, avant la lettre, open to everyone, free of charge. Warsaw University Library has been the only 'oasis' left in my city, still working, under strict sanitary restrictions, under a full pandemic lockdown.
